Refund Policy

Last updated: November 05, 2026

All sales are final. Our products are digital downloads delivered immediately, so purchases are non-refundable except in the limited cases below and where the law requires otherwise.

This Refund Policy applies to purchases of digital products from the CodeGuru website, operated by MbMedia. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. All sales are final

Because our products are digital goods that are downloaded and can be copied and used immediately, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations once an order is completed and the product has been made available for download. Reasons that do not qualify for a refund include, without limitation:

  • changing your mind, buying by mistake, or buying a duplicate of something you already own;
  • lack of the technical skill or environment needed to use the product;
  • compatibility issues you could have verified from the product description, requirements, demo, or documentation before buying;
  • the product not matching an expectation that was never stated on the product page.

2. EU right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases. For digital content supplied immediately, this right does not apply once supply has begun, where you have given prior express consent and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal (Article 16(m), EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU). By purchasing and downloading, you request immediate performance and acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day right of withdrawal.

3. When we may still issue a refund

We will review requests in good faith and may issue a refund at our reasonable discretion where:

  • you were charged more than once, or charged in error, for the same order;
  • the product was never delivered and we are unable to deliver it within a reasonable time;
  • the product has a material defect that makes it substantially unusable, you have reported it with enough detail for us to reproduce it, and we are unable to provide a fix or workaround within a reasonable time.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. We may verify the issue and require that you cease using and delete the product as a condition of the refund.

4. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law, including remedies for digital content that is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. Those statutory rights always apply in addition to this policy.

5. Products purchased on third-party marketplaces

Purchases made on Envato Market (CodeCanyon), Codester, or another third-party marketplace are governed by that marketplace’s refund policy and handled by that marketplace, not by us. Please use their process for any refund request relating to those purchases.

6. Billing and payment processing

Direct purchases are sold by MbMedia (trading as CodeGuru) and processed by Stripe and/or other gateways shown at checkout. Approved refunds are issued by MbMedia and returned to your original payment method; allow 5–10 business days for your bank to post the credit.

7. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first ([email protected]) — we can usually resolve it faster than your bank. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may result in suspension or termination of the related license while the dispute is investigated.

8. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase with your order number, the email used at checkout, the product name, and a clear description of the problem (including steps to reproduce and screenshots where relevant). We aim to respond within a few business days.
